¡Bienvenida! - pt. 3

So here is a street view from my home in Tacna.

Below is a picture of my host dad, Fernando Calizaya, standing on top of our house.
Below is a panorama of the surrounding houses, taken from the rooftop of my house.

Below is a picture of a three-wheeled taxi - or as I like to think of them, Mr. Bean cars.
Below is a picture of Tacna. Yes, the sky is overcast. I know. It's like that for 3 months of the year straight.

Below is one of the two massive cemeteries in Tacna.

A statue of an Inca warrior.
Note the empty eyes, and the finger pointing nowhere...

Below is a street-market in Peru
Below is a pitiful attempt to photograph el Arco Parabólico, a monument raised in honor of two legendary war heroes, Miguel Grau and Francisco Bolognosi.

The Pileta Ornamental de Tacna, a fountain allegedly designed by the same french designer who fashioned the Eiffel tower.

My host mom and host dad, standing in front of the Pileta Ornamental de Tacna.

This last picture marks the end of my second day in Peru.
